I recently googled a tip on how to polish plastic headlamps for my Plymouth Voyager. They were really dull, almost yellow and ugly looking. I got a tip from a person online that he used this BlueMagic polish cream and 1000 grit wet/dry sandpaper (see below for product link) and after a few minutes of sanding and polishing, the headlamps looked almost like new! Well, he was right!! It does work!

Can't wait to try it with other items it says it polishes!

this is THE greatest metal polish to make old stainless steel watches and bands look like NEW!!just be sure NOT to use on watches with gold plated trim-it WILL polish the gold right off along with the scratches!in some cases this is not bad if the gold plating is worn and in bad shape--you end up with an all stainless steel nice looking watch.be careful if watch says base metal on the back-it is NOT stainless and is usually chrome or nickel plated.agin, light scratches will polish out well-just use light pressure and be careful!i have restored MANY watches and the results are fantastic--try it,you will like it.

This is by-far the best silver polish I have ever used. I will never be without it. It makes owning sterling a pleasure.

I was looking for a metal cleaner that would clean badly oxidated aluminum parts. Went to the auto store, and was about to buy the expensive jar, when an older Mexican gentleman walked up and said: Believe me, take the Blue Magic. I took his advice, and yes indeed, I cleaned up those parts and they look like NEW.
Then, I also had some old nickel plated parts that needed restoring, to be sold. The nickel, I thought, was pretty much gone from a corner. By mistake, my polishing rag with BLUE MAGIC rubbed on that corner a few times.
Shine started to come back to the nickel. I treated the nickel fully too, and also the nickel was restored to a complete shine.

One thing: I apply, and rub out, by hand, then polish with a soft buffing wheel on my power drill. The other gentleman that had such bad experience, might have been more enthousiastic if he had used a buffing wheel.
Something to keep in mind when buying this product.

5 out of 5 stars Best metal polish on the market for the last 20+ years!   August 6, 2007

I've been using Blue Magic paste for about 25 years. I've tried several other brands when I could not find Blue Magic and NOTHING has even come close to getting the pure shine out of metal. I've used it on aluminum, stainless, copper, brass, and nickel, to name a few. I even used it on the plexiglass windshield of my motorcycle back in high school 20 something years ago.

A buddy of mine just stopped by this evening (that's what prompted this review) with his '67 Camaro with aluminum wheels. He had used Mother's with some sort of polishing mop on a drill with NO luck. Made a bad mess and hardly even did anything to the aluminum that had been in storage for about 8 years. I went and grabbed my container of Blue Magic and tried it where the Mother's had failed and I thought he was going to fall over- he couldn't believe it. The shine was like a mirror. He then left to get a jar of it for himself. It took a VERY short time to put a mirror shine on the wheel.

I won't use any other metal polish as long as I live. It really is unbelievable how good this stuff is. I use a soft cotton rag to rub in the Blue Magic and then follow with another clean cotton rag to buff it out to a mirror shine. I've been using this stuff since I was a junior in high school.
