Product Description If your car has chrome or polished billet wheels with tight areas or narrow spokes, the PowerCone is just what you need to create a brilliant shine in a fraction of the time it would take by hand. As a bonus, use the PowerCone with your favorite car polish/wax/sealant to shine and protect any hard-to-reach area. A highly-recommended detailing tool.
Clean-up: When you're finished polishing, soak the PowerCone in a bucket of soapy water or better yet use a packet of Snappy Clean Cleaning Powder. Rinse the PowerCone thoroughly, squeeze out excess water or spin-dry the pad on the drill and allow to air dry.

PowerCone Polishing Tool May 20, 2010 Jan M. Robson (Eureka, IL USA) The PowerCone is another product like the PowerBall. They both work really well for polishing wheels. They recommend using a cordless drill to run both of these tools. I found better results, using a 1/2 in. corded drill. According to the documentation on the package, the bigger drill should not be used, I guess the thinking is the tool will not hold together as well. The 1/2 drill operates faster, but had no problems with the tools. The product itself did what it was advertised to do. The cone shape allows you to get into tight corners of the wheel. I have all 3 of the PowerBall products, and they all work well for what they were designed to do.
Powercone Performed Well February 27, 2010 William L. Nelson 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have the Mothers powerball and powerball mini. The powercone is similar in construction, but the unique shape allows access to tight spots. I have used a variety of buffs on my alloy wheels with varying levels of success. The powercone did an an excellent job and I recommend it without hesitation!
Works Great on Clear Coated Wheels Too! June 14, 2009 J. L. Schaffer (SW Colorado) While this product is intended for metal polishing, using it with the proper polishes and wax on clear-coated alloy wheels yields awesome results. The once weathered wheels on my Dodge Ram 2500 diesel pickup are now "as-new" and consistently fetch compliments.
Repeat after me ... It aint cool if your chrome don't shine!
NICE PRODUCT July 14, 2009 C. ESTRADA (Albuquerque, NM) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
It seems like the foam won't last very long, but I will give it a try. I hope it lasts a lot longer than it looks. It shines the chrome Foose rims wonderfully.
I keep hoping these things work April 29, 2009 mojamsand (South Colby WA) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I keep buying Mothers polishing tools hoping they will work on my wheels. This one will go the pile of others that did not function as expected. Like the Who, won't get fooled again.
